This resource contains a fully editable and informative 105-slide PowerPoint presentation on New Year’s Eve and New Year celebrations, customs and traditions in different countries around the world. It is ideal for a New Year assembly. The presentation focuses on the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Denmark, Ecuador, Estonia, France, Greece, Hungary, Japan, Panama, Philippines, Romania, Scotland, Spain, Turkey, USA.
The presentation concludes with asking the pupils the following questions:

Which country would you like to visit at New Year and why?
